ABOUT. INNER BEAUTY

In the spotlight are people with disabilities and facial disfigurement (cerebral palsy, alopecia, vitiligo etc.). They got a chance to become a part of a massive photo shoot as well as to speak out, since during the work the personal story of every single participant was considered. It has provided the project with a very emotional background.

“This project tells about self-belief and love for yourself, regardless of age, or appearance, or health condition.

I have been challenged with this project both in terms of social responsibility and professionalism. It is rather easy to show an inborn beauty in the photograph and to work with professional models. But putting a stranger to the world of glamour in this fashionable setting, revealing their unique, true beauty is quite an experience and quite a responsibility, too.

Hope these photos will serve as a means of drawing social attention to our heroes’ stories, which, I believe, will change our view of them. And probably will inspire us to do something wonderful”.
